What is Factor and Prime factor with example

                   WHAT IS FACTOR AND PRIME FACTOR 

1) Factor : A factor is a small number which divides exactly a bigger number. 

      for example : 
                               18 = 2 ✖ 3 ✖ 3 
                                        |___|____|____________ 2 and 3 are factor of 18 .


                                64 = 2 ✖ 2 ✖ 2 ✖ 2 ✖ 2 ✖ 2 
                                         |___|___|___|____|___|____________ 2 is factor of 64 .



                                 45 = 3 ✖ 3 ✖ 5 
                                           |___|___|______________ 3 and 5 are factor of 45 .





2) Prime factor : If the factor of a given number are prime number then they are called prime factor .

            For example : 

                                          39 =3 ✖ 13 
                                                  |____|_______________ 3 and 13 are prime factor of 39 . 


                                          57 = 3 ✖ 19 
                                                   |____|_______________ 3and 19 are prime factor of 57.
